InvoYX stores all data locally on your device using a SQLite database. No data is transmitted to external servers. InvoYX does not operate any cloud backend, server infrastructure, or data processing facility. Your invoices, client information, financial data, and photos remain exclusively on your device at all times.
InvoYX does not collect, process, or transmit any personal data. There is no account creation, no user registration, no analytics collection, and no tracking of any kind. The app functions completely without internet connectivity.
InvoYX is GDPR-compliant by architecture. Since no personal data is processed or transmitted, Articles 5, 6, 13-22, and 32-36 of the GDPR regarding data processing, consent, and breach notification are inherently satisfied — there is no processing to regulate. The app is developed in Vienna, Austria (EU), and is subject to EU jurisdiction.
Backups created through the app's export feature are AES-256 encrypted using your PIN as the encryption key. The resulting ZIP file contains your database and attached photos. This file is stored wherever you choose to save it through the native share sheet — InvoYX does not have access to the exported file's location. The PIN used for encryption is SHA-256 hashed and never stored in plaintext.
InvoYX may request the following permissions:
- Contacts: For importing client information. Only accessed when you explicitly initiate a contact import. Data is stored locally only.
- Photos/Media/Files: For attaching photos to invoices and expenses, and for exporting/importing backups. All files remain on-device.
- Biometric: For app lock functionality. Biometric data is handled by your device's operating system — InvoYX never accesses raw biometric data.
InvoYX integrates with RevenueCat for optional subscription management. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase tokens to validate subscriptions through app store APIs. This is the sole external service used. No invoice data, client information, or financial records are shared with RevenueCat.
Since InvoYX does not collect or process your personal data, standard GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are exercised directly by you through the app's built-in features. You can view, edit, delete, and export all your data at any time — it's on your device.
